​Dr. Hathy is a Board Certified Optometrist in Jacksonville, FL. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1981 with a B.S. in Medicine as a Physician's Assistant. During his time as a student in Gainesville he served as an Athletic Trainer for the Gators football team. After working as a PA for several years he went to optometry school and graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 1989. Dr. Hathy is a Navy veteran, and served our country for 14 years. 

Some of his specialties include contact lenses, Lasik vision consults, and pediatric examinations. He is clinically trained with diagnosis and management of ocular diseases and maintains a close relationship with local glaucoma, cataract, and retinal specialists.

Dr. Hathy has two grown children, Samuel and Sara, and resides in St. Johns with his wife Mary. He enjoys Gator football, golf, spending time with his granddaughter and family.

Morgan Kickliter, an optometrist hailing from Southern College of Optometry, is driven by a childhood affinity for optometry and a deep-seated desire to improve the lives of others through vision care. Inspired by the transformative experiences of clarity after each optometry visit during childhood, Morgan is dedicated to providing patients with the same sense of clarity and improved vision.

With a focus on clinical care passions, Morgan specializes in myopia management, drawing from personal experiences of vision deterioration during youth. Passionate about preventing children's vision from worsening, Morgan finds fulfillment in offering treatment options that not only address myopia but also promote long-term eye health. Additionally, Morgan is committed to treating dry eye, recognizing the complex nature of the condition and the impact it has on patients' daily lives. Through personalized care and tailored treatment plans, Morgan strives to improve the quality of life for each patient.

Beyond optometry, Morgan is an active member of NEFOS, FOA, and the AOA, reflecting a commitment to professional development and community engagement. In their free time, Morgan enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and cherishing moments with their partner and miniature schnauzer. With a warm and compassionate approach to patient care and a dedication to personal interests and professional affiliations, Morgan embodies a holistic approach to optometry that enriches both patient experiences and personal fulfillment.
