Dr. J. Sean Harper
Dr. J. Sean Harper completed his undergraduate degree at Wofford College (1993). He received his Optometric degree from the Southern College of Optometry (1999). Dr Harper has been in practice with Smyrna Eye Group since 1999.
Dr. Harper is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.
He strives to make sure that each patient receives a personalized office visit, receives the best level of care and that his patients gain a better understanding of their visual health.
Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. Dr. Harper is also an avid sports fan, rooting as always for his beloved Pittsburgh sports teams.
Dr. Steven D. Bowser
Dr. Steven D. Bowser graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry in 2010. He is a 1986 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience.
He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association and the AOA Cornea and Contact Lens Section. As a second career optometrist, Dr. Bowser loves helping patients attain their best vision and maintain healthy eyes.
He has participated in and led several humanitarian trips delivering eye care to Central America and rural Appalachia.
When not providing eye care, Dr. Bowser enjoys traveling the United States with his wife; they have visited all 50 states and still like to explore. He is always happy to talk about Pittsburgh sports.
Dr. Devin Wieseckel
Dr. Wieseckel went to Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to complete his Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Vision Science and Doctorate of Optometry.
Dr. Wieseckel provides comprehensive vision care including contact lens fitting and treatment of eye diseases as well as co-managing refractive and cataract surgery.
He is also a member of the both the American Optometrist Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.
When Dr. Wieseckel isn’t at work, he enjoys the beach, hiking, biking, scuba diving and spending time with his family.
Dr. Kim Vuong
Dr. Kim Vuong graduated from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry in 2011.
She completed her residency in low vision and primary care at the Tucson VA Medical Center and went on to complete a fellowship in low vision and optometric research at the Boston VA Medical Center.
Dr. Vuong serves on the board of directors for the Valley Center for the Blind in Central California and is a member of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Vuong enjoys spending her free time exploring national parks and going on road trips with her husband, young son and German Shepherd.
