Dr. Cristina Escobar, O.D
Dr. Cristina Escobar earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University.
Having worn both glasses and contact lenses since childhood, Dr. Escobar understands firsthand the impact that clear, comfortable vision can have on a person’s daily life. This personal experience inspired her to pursue a career in optometry and allows her to connect with patients on a deeper level. She finds great fulfillment in helping patients improve their vision, alleviate bothersome symptoms, and better understand their eye health through education and personalized care.
Dr. Escobar has a particular passion for contact lenses and enjoys helping patients discover the freedom and convenience they can provide. Whether fitting a patient with contact lenses for the first time or finding solutions that support an active lifestyle, she appreciates the opportunity to enhance both vision and quality of life. She is also committed to helping patients protect their long-term eye health through preventive care and early intervention.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Escobar developed a love of education from an early age after being adopted at the age of five and learning English as a second language. Her experiences have shaped her compassionate approach to patient care and her dedication to helping others overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Outside of the office, Dr. Escobar enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, paddle boarding, and relaxing by a fire pit while listening to music. She also enjoys the companionship of her two dogs, Chief, a golden retriever, and Renegade, a Bernese Mountain Dog.
