Dr. Kenneth R. Winton
Dr. Kenneth R. Winton has been practicing Optometry in North Alabama since graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2002. A Huntsville native, Dr. Winton graduated from Huntsville High School in 1993 and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Birmingham-Southern College in 1997. Following optometry school, he completed a private practice internship in Pensacola, Florida, as well as an internship at Fox Army Health Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
Dr. Winton has been in private family practice in Huntsville since 2002, providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. He has been actively involved in the profession and previously served as President of the North Alabama Optometric Society. Since 2014, Dr. Winton has taken a special interest in sports vision evaluation and training, helping athletes enhance visual performance through specialized assessment and care.
