Dr. Samantha Wong, a graduate of the University of Toronto and the Illinois College of Optometry, is a dedicated optometrist with a profound passion for eyecare. In her career, she focuses on helping patients achieve optimal vision and preventing/minimizing the impact of ocular diseases.
Samantha's particular area of clinical care passion is glaucoma care, stemming from extensive residency training. She emphasizes the importance of recognizing the health component in annual eye exams for early detection and treatment of glaucoma, given that patients often don't notice vision loss until it reaches a severe state. Outside of her professional life, Samantha enjoys figure skating, snowboarding, traveling, and trying new restaurants, with sushi and udon being her favorite foods.
